Kevin White, CMHC
Kevin White is an Clinical Mental Health Counselor. He works with a variety of modern evidence-based treatments. Kevin takes a holistic, family systems approach to therapy, focusing on ruptured family dynamics and loss of connection. His main areas of study are in the neurobiological components of addiction, and in areas of social and personality psychology.
Kevin incorporates elements of cognitive psychology into his therapeutic approach, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. He also remains true to more traditional Rogerian schools of psychotherapy and Jungian archetypes of personality, and is practiced in Psychodrama group work.
Kevin holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Family Studies from Weber State University, as well as a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. There, he specialized in research interests such as depression, anxiety, and third-wave cognitive-behavioral therapies. He has worked previously in outpatient counseling, and is well-versed in Judeo-Christian principles pertaining to a faith-based approach to therapy.
